iWAYS gathers in Athens for its 6th project meeting

On the 8-9th of May iWAYS partners gathered in Athens, Greece for the 6th project meeting. It was hosted by local partners Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon (NKUA) and National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

All iWAYS partner representatives gathered to share the latest project developments, with the broad goal of developing a set of technologies and systems for industrial processes to recover water and heat, and materials, from exhaust streams.

Project Progress:

The project is progressing well, with the latest highlight being the successful commissioning of the Heat Pipe Condensing Economiser (HPCE) test rig at the Lithuanian Energy Institute.

In parallel, preparations are ongoing for the commissioning of iWAYS solutions at the 3 industrial demo cases in Sweden, Italy and Spain.
